DISCO - Training Awards Nominee

DISCO is excited to have been advised that it has been successful as a nominee in the 2023 Queensland Training Awards – South West Region.

CEO Mike Paton said;

“The DISCO team recently made the decision to nominate for the Community Training Initiative of the Year as part of this year’s awards. We really felt our annual School Leaver Program which we have been delivering consistently for many years was worthy of consideration.

It was so exciting recently to be advised that we were shortlisted for consideration as we are really very proud of this program which is now sustainable and an important part of our organisations work annually to ensure all grade 12 students make a successful transition - post school”. Mr Paton said.

The DISCO Management Committee as well as all team members are looking forward to hearing if the organisation might be a finalist and participating in the awards evening when the winners are announced with this taking place on the 14th of July at Clifford Park Racecourse in Toowoomba.
